Think Hub Ghana was invited to the “Ghana Job Fair 2022” stakeholders meeting at the Ghanaian-German Center in Accra. The meeting in it entirety was to discuss how to improve this year’s Job Fair for unemployed youth and young graduates.
During these discussions, stakeholders were more particular about how to eradicate some perceptions of young graduates about white-collar jobs and to be readily furnished for the job market.
However, our executive director Prince Twumasi Osei at the meeting raised concerns about how every year’s Job Fair doesn’t have a proper process to give these unemployed youth and young graduates career guidance and clinic programs to help equip them for the job market. Also, he made mentioned encouraging some who have the passion to start their own business; stating our company’s belief in “facilitating employment growth by developing entrepreneurial ecosystem”.
Think Hub Ghana in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Ghanaian-German Center for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration will provide career guidance workshops for participants of this year’s Ghana Job Fair, 2022 in September.
